In the past week, kijiji provided me with 2 of my greatest desires: a twin gear juicer and a far infrared sauna. Buying gently used items with cash is liberating!

I’m currently reading John Assaraf’s The Answer and what has struck me the most, thus far, as the “Five Musts” that he has outlined:
Being involved with Toastmasters stirs my soul. I strive daily for excellence, taking whatever turn on my path that brings me closer to my dream of becoming a professional public speaker and facilitator. Therefore, when an e-mail came through from our Toastmasters Division W governor looking for facilitators for the summer Club Officer training, I needed to reflect on these “musts”. I realized that, as much as it terrifies me to lead a session for the first time, challenging myself will cement the belief that I CAN achieve it, and it will add to the excellence I am striving for on a daily basis. |
I gave my 2 months notice at my current apartment.
I guess this was my way of saying “YES” to a future with HIM.
What have I agreed to? And more so, how do I deal with my guilt of having a man with 2 young children now with a physically challenged girlfriend? I sometimes feel as though I am “saddling” him with something – with me, I suppose. I realize I am “owning” his feelings in this regard, but it’s difficult not to. I feel like an amazing success in every area of my life, except for this one. Perhaps the greatest issue of all is my thinking – these are not thoughts conducive to a successful mindset.
