In accepting a recent dinner invitation, I found a kindred spirit who shares similar beliefs in diet, moral values, and the general usefulness/worth of certain things in society. Together, we bought seeds to sprout, shared our blossoming viewpoints, and made plans to dehydrate super food cookies together. I never thought she was a diamond in the rough, but I didn’t think we could possibly be kindred spirits.
